US VALOR is a non-profit founded by KNC Strategic Services to help transitioning US military members build careers in cybersecurity — equipping veterans with the skills to defend our nation's digital infrastructure.
The Program
A cybersecurity apprenticeship built for veterans.
US VALOR runs a specialized Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program for transitioning military members. Apprentices learn hands-on security operations, compliance, and assessment skills alongside working professionals — the same disciplines KNC practices every day as an authorized C3PAO.
The program connects learning, resources, and real career opportunities so veterans leave service with a mission, a skill set, and a job path — not just a certificate.

Why We Serve
Founded by Marines who never stopped serving.
KNC takes its name from its three founders — Kelly, Nick, and Chuck — USMC disabled veterans and a veterans advocate who traded one form of national service for another: defending the companies that equip America’s military.
Kelly C. Kendall, KNC’s CEO and President and a disabled veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and Chuck Buresh, KNC's EVP and COO, founded US VALOR to give the next generation of service members the on-ramp into cybersecurity he wishes every veteran had.
